Dr Hoon Chung
Dr. Chung was born in Japan, and then went to university in South Korea, where he graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Tokyo, and went on to establish one of the busiest and most successful private Dermatology clinics in Japan, in addition to running the Acne Clinic at Toranomon Hospital in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
He obtained an MSc in Clinical Dermatology from St. Thomas's Hospital at the University of London, and an MSc in Virology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He then carried out research in Photobiology at St. John's Institute for Dermatology at King’s College, London, before going on to do a Research Fellowship in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School (The Wellman Center for Photomedicine.)
Dr. Chung combines research experience in the fundamental science of Dermatology with extensive experience in the clinical setting, with a long and successful history in treating a wide range of patients, and a particularly impressive track record with atopic dermatitis, acne, and warts.
